Ganesh Chaturthi at home

My husband and me have been celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi for three years now. This involves getting Lord Ganesha home for a few days, cooking His favourite sweets, praying for the well being of your family or world peace ( whatever you prefer) and then saying goodbye to Him by submerging Him in water… till next year. Having Him at home makes me feel happy and very pious.

The market was full of flowers. And we got organic Ganesha’s this time with no chemical paints or such. He looked so real and natural and everyone loved His new  look.

May Ganeshji bring peace and prosperity to my home.
